Music Intent
Our intent for music in our primary school is to provide a high-quality, inclusive, and comprehensive music education that ensures all pupils develop a love and deep appreciation for music. We aim to foster the growth of musical skills, knowledge, and understanding through a rich and progressive curriculum, giving pupils opportunities to perform, compose, and listen critically to music from around the world and across generations. Our intention is to nurture each individual's creativity, self-expression, confidence, and teamwork skills, fostering a lifelong engagement with and passion for music.
